Follow the steps below to assemble your flagpole. We recommend also watching the video at the bottom of this page for visual context.
Set up your four shaft collars with either black or stainless steel bolts. Take one of the shaft collars and slide one of the bolts all the way into the round cutout and hold the nut into the hexagonal cutout opposite the round cutout. Use the included 9/64 Allen wrench to thread the nut onto the bolt. Just enough to capture the nut into the shaft collar. Do this for each of the four shaft collars. No need to over-tighten, as you may want to adjust when adding the flag.
Slide the first shaft collar onto the pole.
Slide one of your swivels onto the pole.
Slide a second shaft collar onto the pole and move that assembly (the two shaft collars and the swivel) about halfway down the pole. It will be adjusted later.
Now repeat that process of adding shaft collar, swivel, and shaft collar.
For style points, make sure the bolts on all your shaft collars are lined up.
Take your hex key, tighten one of the top shaft collars, and position the second shaft collar with some room so the swivel can freely move around. We like to leave a gap the thickness of about two playing cards. Tighten up the last shaft collar. Again, no reason to over-tighten.
Put your finial mount on the top end of the pole. It's a tapered fit, so give it a twist and it should fit snugly.
If you prefer the cap to the finial, screw the cap onto top of the finial mount. If you prefer the finial, we will add that after we add the flag.
Clip one of your carabiners on the top swivel and then clip on the flag.
Stretch out the flag, and move down to your lower assembly. Align the lower assembly just below the flag’s bottom grommet. You can adjust this based on how you want your flag to look.
Add your other carabiner to the bottom swivel, and clip on the bottom of the flag.
Once the swivels are aligned how you want them, take your hex key and tighten up the second shaft collar.
If you want to add the finial, remove the cap at the top of the pole.
Screw the bottom finial on the finial mount, and lightly tighten it.
Slide on the star belt.
Screw on the top finial.

Yes, you can ship to an APO/FPO. However, economy shipping is the only option that can deliver to these locations.

Return Policy
Customers may return items purchased from RME Flag Systems within 60 days from the date of purchase. Returned items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in the same condition as received.
A valid proof of purchase (e.g. original receipt, email order confirmation) is required for all returns
Full & promotional priced items are eligible for return.
Final Sale items are not eligible for return.

Refunds
To be eligible for a refund, returned merchandise must be unused and in the original condition. All products are subject to inspection. All refunds will be issued to the original form of payment. Please allow 5-7 business days for your return to be processed.
Return Shipping
Products approved under the RME Flag Systems Warranty Policy will be issued a prepaid return shipping label. For items not covered under warranty, customers are responsible for arranging and covering the cost of return shipping.
Warranty Policy
All products sold by RME Flag Systems are covered under this warranty.
Coverage
This warranty protects against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the original order date.
Exclusions
This warranty does not cover damage resulting from:
Misuse or abuse
Accidental damage
Unauthorized modifications or alterations
Warranty Service
If a product covered by this warranty requires repair or replacement, RME Flag Systems will provide a replacement item at no cost to the customer.

Poles and Accessories
Inspect regularly for wear and tear. All pieces can be hand washed with mild soap and warm water. Do not use any bleach or harsh chemicals. Dry completely before use.
Flags
Hand Wash with mild detergent and cold water. Do not use any bleach or harsh chemicals.
Lay flat or hang to air dry, away from direct sunlight if possible (this reduces fading). Never put it in the dryer as heat can damage fibers and embroidery.
Extra tip: If your flag sees heavy outdoor use, a gentle wash every few months and regular rinsing with plain water will extend its life significantly.
